TAMPA BAY TIMES REVIEW Open every night until 3 a.m. The Spot: Exactly what you'd expect a sports grill to look like, Prime Time is all brass rails and wood, with the fully stocked bar as its centerpiece. There are TVs lining the walls, and a speaker in each booth lets you select which TV you listen to. Pick your audio poison and sit watching ESPN under the warm glow of the baseball-shaped lamps. The Juice: Some are from far away, some from nearby; some are strong and some are weak. Prime Time's beer selection is just like the sports leagues they relay on cable, making this one of the better sports bars in North Tampa. The Grub: The extensive menu offers a bit of a reach in areas such as pasta, but the regular entrees, especially the burgers, are where it's at. The Selling Point: Sure this is a great place to go for sports. But it's an even better place to go if you like your sports played between two controllers on a video game consol. The Golden Tee and Madden football gaming tourneys are famous in this end of Tampa, dumping out cash, food and drink prizes for winners.
